A Refreshed, Unified Interface
We've given CompleMetrix a visual refresh for a cleaner and more consistent experience across the whole platform.
- Redesigned charts: the funders histogram and the publications & citations histogram now share a clean, modern style, with a softer colour palette, lighter axes and gridlines, and clearer value labels. Provisional years (without complete data yet) are clearly marked.
- A unified look: the coauthorship, concepts and institutions networks and the interdisciplinarity chart now share the same typography and brand palette as the rest of the tool.
- Clearer interdisciplinarity: the Shannon measure is now shown directly as a normalized index between 0 and 1, easier to read at a glance.
- Plus assorted interface and usability fixes throughout.
Introducing Altmetrics, Dimensions, and Scite: A New Era for Scientific Research Evaluation
We are thrilled to announce an exciting and powerful integration of three advanced tools into Complemetrix.net: Altmetrics, Dimensions, and Scite! These tools will provide a comprehensive understanding of the social and academic impact of scientific articles.
- Altmetrics offers insights into the social reach and media impact of research, showing how studies resonate beyond traditional academic citations, including mentions in social media, news outlets, blogs, and policy documents. A badge will now appear next to your search results, and by hovering over it, you will receive detailed analytics that help measure the broader impact of the research.
- Dimensions takes research evaluation to the next level by offering access to an extensive database of scholarly articles, grants, patents, clinical trials, and policy documents. With Dimensions, you can view citation data, explore funding sources, and discover how research influences various sectors, from academia to industry and beyond.
- Scite uses AI to analyze how a scientific paper has been cited—whether it was supporting, contrasting, or discussing previous work. This allows you to see whether a research paper is being used in a positive or negative light, offering a clearer perspective on its academic influence.
Whether you're a researcher, librarian, or simply someone curious about the real-world impact of scientific discoveries, these integrations provide invaluable perspectives at your fingertips. Simply perform your usual searches and watch the data unfold in a way that goes beyond conventional citation analysis.
Explore the combined power of Altmetrics, Dimensions, and Scite on Complemetrix.net today. Revolutionize the way you evaluate scientific research and gain new insights into how knowledge is disseminated across the world. It’s time to experience a new dimension in research evaluation!
